I build software that holds up once real users arrive.

Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT Ranchi, class of 2027, CGPA 8.75. I build platforms across the stack — most recently a freelance frontend developer at Outlier.ai, after shipping the APIs that carried a platform through 100,000 registrations in its first two days. Looking for a software developer internship or graduate role.

About

IIIT Ranchi, 2023–2027

I like the part of this job where something has to survive contact with real users.

I’m in my last year of computer science at IIIT Ranchi, and most of what I actually know came from shipping things that then had to keep working. I build platforms across the stack, which in practice means the interface and the machinery behind it are the same job. At Target Board that meant an API surface that absorbed 100,000 registrations in its first two days without falling over. At SecNode it meant a dashboard streaming live scan progress over SSE and WebSockets while a headless Chrome agent drove OWASP ZAP underneath.

The other half of my time goes to competitive programming, across Codeforces, CodeChef and LeetCode. It’s the same instinct as the engineering work: a problem, a hard constraint, and no credit for a solution that only holds on the easy input.

Most recently I was freelancing with Outlier.ai as a frontend developer and AI data annotator — building Next.js and React interfaces used to evaluate pre-release AI models, and annotating speech data for platforms including ElevenLabs and Omni TTS. Reading model output critically all day turned out to be good practice for reading your own code the same way.

Since then my time has gone into staying sharp: data structures and algorithms daily, competitive programming on the weekends, and building projects end to end. I’m looking for a software developer internship or a graduate role where that gets used.

4 roles, all remote

Four roles so far. Every one of them remote, and most of the work under the surface.

  1. Outlier.ai

    March 2026 — April 2026

Freelance Frontend Developer, AI Data AnnotatorRemote

    • Built fast, lightweight Next.js/TypeScript and React.js frontend pages to support evaluation of pre-release AI models.
    • Annotated data for AI platforms including ElevenLabs and Omni TTS to improve model output quality; earned $4,000+ on freelance work.
  2. Target Board

    January 2026 — April 2026

    Software Developer InternRemote

    • Developed scalable backend APIs using Node.js/Express.js to handle high concurrent traffic.
    • Deployed production infrastructure on DigitalOcean, integrating AWS S3 for secure object storage and MongoDB for data management.
    • Engineered the platform to handle 100,000+ registrations within 2 days of launch, ensuring stability under heavy load.
  3. SecNode

    August 2025 — September 2025

    Full Stack Developer InternRemote

    • Engineered real-time scan progress updates with SSE and WebSockets in Node.js/Express.js.
    • Integrated OWASP ZAP with a headless Chrome agent for automated vulnerability scans.
    • Implemented AI-based reporting to generate concise post-scan vulnerability summaries.
    • Optimized PostgreSQL queries and API gateway with an Nginx reverse proxy.
    • Built frontend components in React.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  4. HR Sutra

    May 2025 — August 2025

    Full Stack Developer InternRemote

    • Led system architecture: user flows and technology stack selection.
    • Built the backend with Node.js/Express.js, including database schema design — ~90% of API integrations, using MongoDB and Redis.
    • Built 50% of the frontend using Next.js. Containerized the application with Docker.

2 projects

Two things I built end to end, then kept running.

Chatzy

React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Docker

A real-time chat platform where the interesting problem was keeping presence, media and an AI participant in sync over one socket connection.

  • MERN-based real-time chat: text and image messaging, an AI chatbot on the Gemini API, OTP authentication, user search, online-status filtering, and 32 customizable themes.
  • Zustand for state, Cloudinary for image storage, Docker for deployment, Tailwind CSS and DaisyUI for the responsive interface.

Devium

Next.js, TypeScript, Convex, Docker, Clerk

A collaborative code editor that runs what you write, then keeps the execution, the snippet and the conversation around it in one shared document.

  • Real-time execution, code sharing, collaboration, snippet starring, commenting, execution stats and theme customization.
  • Clerk for auth, Zustand for state, Convex as the real-time database; Dockerized deployment with tiered pricing through LemonSqueezy.
